This site was brought to us by Golden Homes as one of their new builds in Papamoa East. The client was after a front yard that had a little more spark than just plain grass, and that is what we gave them!
After discussions with the client, and due to the sloping nature of the front of their property, it was established that a rock wall with plants and bark mulch would be their desired look for the front garden, bordered with timber edging and artificial turf to provide a clean and tidy aesthetic from the road front.
Stones, plants, timber edging, pavers, mulch, rocks, artificial turf and steel fencing were all installed to bring this landscaping to completion. The steel fence added screening and privacy to the side of the house while the plants at the very front will grow over time to provide their own privacy to the front window. The plants themselves were chosen for their hardy and coastal nature while adding pops of colour to stand out against the brown bark mulch.
The clients were impressed with the end result of the landscaping and delighted that their choice of artificial turf meant the maintenance on their property was going to be a whole lot less with no lawns to mow!
